Staff Meet Dr. James Greenspon MD Dr. Jim specializes in nutritional counseling and family medicine, inspired by his father and weight loss pioneer, Dr. Irwin Greenspon. He graduated from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!) in 1981 and continued on to Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis where he earned his MD degree in 1985. Dr. Jim completed a residency in family practice at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Jim eagerly returned home to join his father's historic practice, established in 1949, where he acquired his father's time-tested wisdom and techniques. After helping countless people lose and maintain their weight, he has become an expert in the weight loss field. To accommodate patients who were making a long drive to the main Lansing location, he added a satellite office in Northfield in 2016 that is easily accessible near interstate 94.
